Dr. Laura Waters, of Thriving Center of Psychology, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience providing psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Although she works with individuals across adulthood to youth, Dr. Waters specializes in evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and families.
Dr. Waters is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Seeking Safety (SS), and utilizes other evidence-based treatments to address underlying issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and severe behavioral disturbances. Dr. Waters is also bilingual in Spanish and has experience providing therapy and assessment services in the Spanish language.
